Are you an operations engineer who likes to automate everything?

In this job upwards of 75% of your time will be spent developing tools to automate configuration, maintenance, deployment and monitoring of systems. While we have significant pieces in place already, there's still much room for you to make a big impact, especially as we branch out to multiple datacenters with more products. You'll work closely with the development team to ensure operational issues are considered throughout the development process.

Responsibilities include:

• automate configuration of new systems
• automate management of existing systems
• automate deployments
• monitor systems:
• build dashboards and metrics to improve our view into system performance

Required:

•  Must have:
• 3+ years experience administering servers in production environments
• Linux skills and experience, including bash scripting
• Solid ability to program systems automation in ruby
• Experience in end-to-end product delivery cycle for high-availability systems

Bonus Points:

• PowerMTA, Postfix experience
• 2-3 years in email management experience, including fluency in SPF 2.0, DKIM, etc…
• Experience with Ruby on Rails development
